Tillandsia atroviridipetala Matuda, 1957

Tillandsia atroviridipetala ist eine schöne, kleinbleibende und sehr stark grau beschuppte Art aus Mexiko. Sie ist nahe verwandt mit Tillandsia plumosa und Tillandsia ignesiae.......

Art wurde von Smith & Downs (1977) als Synonym zu Tillandsia plumosa gestellt, aber allgemein weiterhin als eigene Art angesehen. Der Name setzt sich zusammen aus atro = Schwarz, viridis = grün, und petala = Blütenkronblätter.
